About Us

Before the World Called It Essential, We Were Already Doing It.

When counseling was still an unfamiliar word in Indian schools, Anubhuti Counseling was quietly curating what institutional support could look like. In 1998, we launched structured internship programs for grade 11-12 students to help them find their calling. In 2000, we had made one-to-one career counseling mandatory for every student from Grade 9 to Grade 12, turning what was then a privilege of the few into a right for every learner.

In 2002, while mental health carried the weight of deep social stigma across the country, we were implementing ‘Best practices’ and documenting them in the form of Manuals for conducting individual emotional and behavioural therapy, streamlining the process to a space the mainstream had not yet dared to enter. In 2013 we introduced and partnered with schools in Tier II cities to facilitate establishment of fully functional, independent Career Counseling departments, complete with their own curriculum, systemic policies and institutional guidelines.

And in 2018, long before a global pandemic forced the world to discover the possibilities of online engagement, our counselors at Anubhuti Counseling were already conducting therapy sessions with adult clients settled abroad. We were also connecting Grade 12 students sitting in a Gurugram classroom to live university lectures being delivered in Australia, in real time.

We Were Always Ahead.
